Mio Amber pics leak online

Pictures of an upcoming handset from Mio, known as Amber have surfaced online
Published on Jun 30, 2009
Rendered images of a device purported to be the Mio Amber are circulating on the internet.
The pics turned up over at ai.rs blog alongside a spec list naming features inclusing a 3.6-inch display, 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and HSPA connectivity.
The Amber is clearly looking to run against the big-boys of the smartphone world and so wouldn't stand a chance if it didn't include other staples such as, accelerometer, A-GPS, and microSD expandable storage.
Interestingly, it's rumoured that the handset will be running Windows Mobile 6.5, so we don't expect to see it launching too far in the future; with 6.5 nearly upon us, 7 can't be too far away.
Stat-fans will be interested to know that it packs a 528 Mhz Qualcomm processor rather than the new 1Ghz Snapdragon alternative that's been drawing a lot of attention recently.
No official word on availability, pricing, or even existence just yet, we'll bring you more as we get it.
