Leaked details on the Motorola Android phone, dubbed 'Sholes', show that it'll have a slide-out Qwerty and large 3.7-inch screen

New details have been leaked regarding Motorola’s upcoming Android device, which sports a slide-out Qwerty keyboard.
Perhaps the most striking feature of the phone, currently going under the name ‘Sholes’, is its 3.7-inch screen, which has a 480x854 native resolution. Like other Android phones currently available, the camera isn’t quite as trailblazing. It’s a 5-megapixel offering with autofocus and flash – on a par with HTC’s latest Hero device in megapixel terms.
Motofan.ru, the site that originally leaked the information, also posted pictures of the device. The Qwerty keyboard is looking a little small, having to make way for a D-pad controller to the right of it, but we’ll have to wait to get out hands on it to see how it fares under real-world usage.
Having gotten used to the fairly friendly-looking HTC Magic and Hero Android handsets, the Sholes is looking a little angular, in spite of its bevelled edges. That said, it’s good to see more manufacturers piling into the Android space.
The Motorola Sholes is branded with the Verizon logo, suggesting it may be an exclusive with the carrier in the US. We currently have no information on the availability of the handset in the UK.
