Sony Ericsson will reportedly be launching the X3 as the X10 in November

New information has come to light suggesting that Sony Ericsson's Xperia X3 device will be coming to market with the name of the X10.
Rumours of an official announcement for the X3, or X10, have been circulating for a while, but have been all but confirmed by the retweeting of the story by the Ericsson Labs Twitter profile.
Details of the name change surfaced over at Tweakers.net along with further affirmations that the handset will be officially announced next month, with arrival due “in the first 8 weeks of 2010”.
If accurate the name change may be to avoid confusion between the X1 and X2 Windows Mobile powered devices and this Android-based X10.
The Windows Mobile 6.5 X2 is due for release next month, and is said to come with similar specs to the X10, save the OS and screen dimensions.
It's also worth noting that whilst the handset is said to be running Android 1.6 currently, it should arrive with 2.0.
We should have the full low-down by the end of next month, and expect to see the handset arrive somewhere around MWC 2010.
