Sony Ericsson's Google Android powered X10 handset is looking set to launch officially on the 3rd November

Published on Oct 27, 2009

The 4.1-inch touchscreen-toting Sony Ericsson X10 is rumoured to be formally announced at the start of next month.

We've heard a fair bit from the X10, AKA Rachael, in the last few weeks but evidence suggesting that the handset will get a full début on the 3rd November, is mounting.

A landing page over at www.sonyericsson.com/whatsnext has gotten the internet a-chatter with talk of the X10's official launch.

Right now the page consists of nothing more than a placeholder stating 'Sometimes there’s a thin line between the extraordinary and the magical. Did we cross it? Watch this space on November 3rd'. However, below this is a link to the homepage that displays a referral code that explicitly mentions Rachael.

In related news, there is also a video on YouTube purporting to be leaked marketing material for the upcoming X10 launch - if it's legit, it's the first confirmation we have of the 32GB onboard storage.

If you'd like to check out that leaked marketing material for yourself then take a peek below, be warned though – it's really poor quality.

With all these rumours and leaks flying about, official word can't be too far away.

Sony Ericsson Rachael Could this date really refer to the upcoming Sony Ericsson X10's launch? We think so.
