iPhone 4G details leaked

A Chinese retailer has leaked information about what purports to be one of the crucial components of the next-generation Apple iPhone.

China Ontrade published photos of the ‘iPhone 4 Generation Midboard’, which essentially mirrors what the backplate of the next iPhone will look like. To tell the truth, it doesn’t look a whole lot different from what you’d expect to be inside the current iPhone 3GS, but any iPhone 4G tidbits are worth keeping an eye on in our book.

What it does suggest is that the iPhone 4G may be out earlier than expected. As the iPhone 3GS has only recently been released, we weren’t expecting any news of the iPhone 4G until well into next year. Gizmodo, who grabbed the post off China Ontrade seems to think these rumours have weight though.
