HTC has announced that its much anticipated HD2 handset is now shipping in Europe and Asia

The HTC HD2 is now shipping in Europe and Asia, whilst US customers will have to wait until early 2010 where it will arrive with a 'major US carrier'.
Excited potential purchasers in the UK have less time to wait, a few days at most, to get their hands on the HTC Sense equipped HD2.
The handset's highlights include:
- 4.3-inch capacitive WVGA touchscreen display
- Qualcomm 1GHz processor
- HSDPA/HSUPA
- Wi-Fi
- Windows Mobile 6.5 with HTC Sense
- 5-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash
- Bluetooth
- A-GPS
It will be available from free on qualifying contracts from most major UK networks, and is priced at around £500 SIM-free.
