Vodafone revamps SIM-only plans

Vodafone has announced the launch of two new SIM-only price plans in the UK

Published on Nov 6, 2009

New SIM-only contracts with unlimited internet usage are being offered by Vodafone on 30 day and 12 month terms.

The plans are designed to appeal to customers that are happy with their handset but are still looking for a regular monthly commitment for an all inclusive bundle.

For the borderline contract phobic, there's a 30 day commitment that provides 600 anytime minutes, and unlimited internet and texts for £20 per month; or a £25 option that includes an extra 300 minutes.

For people wanting a longer term there's 12-month deals that come with 900 minutes or 1200 minutes, priced at £20 and £25 respectively. Naturally, both include unlimited SMS messaging and internet access, but unlimited calls to landlines have also been thrown into the mix too for the £25 option.

As is always the case with “unlimited” internet access, a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) does apply; in this case it equates to 500MB per month – adequate for browsing and mail, but probably not for media intensive streaming or downloads.

You can find full details over at the Vodafone online shop.
