Casio has unveiled the ruggedised G'zOne Brigade on Verizon in the US.
It's not too often we see a Qwerty-equipped handset that boasts the military spec MIL-STD-810F rating, meaning that the Brigade can resist water, humidity, salt, dust, extreme temperatures, solar radiation, fog and altitude without skipping a beat.
The clamshell handset's more traditional specs include a 3.2-megapixel camera, 3G connectivity and Push To Talk functionality.
The Brigade is a clearly a utilitarian device designed with business in mind, and with Verizon's contacts options that allow employers to keep abreast of an entire workforces' contacts at the press of a button, it's sure to appeal.
Staying on the business side of things, the phone also has a viewer with support for Word, Excel, PDF and PowerPoint presentations. According to a report on EngadgetMobile, there's full support for a wide range of V Cast apps too.
Pricing and specific details are still unannounced at this point.
