As part of the anniversary celebrations for the App Store, Apple has told us its Top 30 favourite iPhone games

To celebrate the anniversary of the App Store, Apple has released a list of its Top 30 games. It’s not a list of bestsellers or a list based on user reviews- it’s been compiled by Apple employees as a rundown of their personal favourites.
It would seem that they’ve got similar tastes to us, for the most part, with a great range of games, and not just ones that have set the App Store’s chart alight. There are a few exceptions that we would have added though. Where’s Glyder, for a start. Peggle would probably have slipped into our list too.
Every Top 10 style list brings its own brand of acrimony though, so we’re willing to stop and admite it's a pretty decent bundle of games. Here’s the list:
- Flight Control
- Bloons
- Edge
- Fieldrunners
- Toki Tori
- Rolando
- Touchgrind
- Flick Fishing
- Monopoly Here & Now
- Real Tennis 2009
- The Sims 3
- 2XL Supercross
- Zen Bound
- Real Racing
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour
- Topple 2
- Myst
- Sonic the Hedgehog
- Trism
- Sentinel: Mars Defence
- Super Yum Yum 3
- Paper Toss
- F.A.S.T.
- Real Football 2009
- De Blob
- Crazy Machines
- Tiki Towers
- Baseball Slugger
- Up There
- Spore Origins
