Doom Classic, the iPhone version of the legendary 1993 shooter, has been released. You can grab it for £3.99

id Software’s seminal first-person shooter Doom has made its way to the iPhone.
It includes all 35 missions of the four episodes that featured in the 1993 original. Just like other iPhone FPS games, you use a virtual touchscreen controller to move around your character. However, Doom Classic has the advantage in that the game was never designed to allow you to look around freely, making the controls that bit simpler.
Doom Classic also includes Wi-Fi multiplayer, letting you play either against them in a standard deathmatch or with them in a co-op game. You can buy the game now from the App Store for £3.99.
Doom was famously one of the most modded games ever made, so here’s hoping that the game eventually gets a WAD store in place so we can try out all those hilariously shonky total conversions made back in the 90s.
