Despite only being released a few days ago, Fishlabs’s Rally Master Pro has shed a pound and is now available for just £2.99.
Rally Master Pro has gained much critical acclaim in the short time since its release – just check out our review for a more in-depth look – but Fishlabs also reported that the game saw up to 95 percent piracy rates during its first week on sale. We think that disappointing sales, at least in comparison to pirate downloads, may have spurred this price drop tactic.
iPhone piracy has been put under an even more intense spotlight than usual of late, with several publishers releasing information on just how many times they think their games have been nicked. Fishlabs complained of piracy issues back when they were primarily a java game developer, so it seems like there’s no escape from the pirates for the 3D-loving publisher.
Either way, we’d give Rally Master Pro two thumbs up, especially at this new lowered price. For more on Fishlabs, check out our interview with CEO Michael Schade.
