I-play has released a mobile game based on the movie The Vampire’s Assistant: Cirque Du Freak.

We’ll be back soon with a full look at the game, but as you can tell from these screenshots, it’s a side-scrolling action platformer. It’s developed by Jump Games and casts you as the eponymous Vampire’s Assistant as you skulk around all sorts of dark and dingy environments.

The Vampire’s Assistant: Cirque Du Freak movie is based on the The Saga of Darren Shan book series, which has a strong cult following, if not one quite in the same league as that of the Twilight Saga.

Vampires are definitely in at the moment though, especially if you’re a sulky teenager. Check out the new Twilight movie game for more evidence of the craze.
