Comixology, the maker of the iPhone’s Comics app, have struck a deal with Marvel to make some of its famous comics available to iPhone users.
The first comics available are Joss Whedon's twenty four issues on Astonishing X-Men, Robert Kirkman's five-issue Marvel Zombies miniseries, Ed Brubaker's first 30 issues of Captain America, and two six issue X-Men-related books; X-23 and X-Men: Age of Apocalypse.
With each issue priced at a mere $2, Apple and Comixology are predicting the deal will significantly boost the use of the Comic app.
This is not the first time Apple and Marvel have done business with the latter selling Spider-Woman and an adaptation of Whedon's Astonishing X-Men on iTunes.
